Transportation Services

Dibe’ Yazhi’ Habit’iin Community School provides safe and reliable transportation for all students. We are committed to ensuring that every student arrives at school on time each day. Below, you will find important information about our bus routes, schedules, and safety procedures. Please review this information carefully to help maintain a smooth and efficient transportation system for everyone in our school community.

Bus Routes 

We offer transportation services Monday through Friday for local areas within our district. Several bus routes are available, and each student’s assigned route will be determined during registration. 

The current bus routes include:

Borrego 1 - Bus Route #1

Mr. Elton Jones

Wolf Canyon Rd, Nav. RT 49, Smith Lake Corner Stone, Casamero Lake Loop, and Martinez Camp

Borrego 2 - Bus Route #2

Ms. Lucinda Largo

Star Pond Rd, Casamero Lake NHA; County Rd 19 and Crow Mesa Rd. 

Borrego 3 - Bus Route #3

Mrs. Christina Martin

Ikard Newsome, Heartbutte Rd, White Ridge Rd, Littlewater NHA and Navajo Route 48

Bus Rules 

Riding the school bus is a privilege, and all students are expected to follow the rules to ensure everyone's safety. Students are expected to understand and follow these key rules:

  • Be on Time: Arrive at your assigned bus stop at least five minutes before the bus arrives.
  • Respect Others: Respect fellow students and the bus driver.
  • Remain Seated: Stay seated during the ride. Keep the aisle and exits clear.
  • Be Courteous: Avoid using foul language or making obscene gestures.
  • Safety First: Keep all body parts inside the bus, and do not distract the driver.
  • No Food or Drinks: Eating and drinking are prohibited on the bus.
  • Prohibited Items: Tobacco, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited. If a driver suspects a student is under the influence, they will report the incident immediately.
  • Avoid Damaging the Bus: Students and their families are responsible for any damage caused to the bus.
